June 2023 Congratulations to these undergraduate students, Warda Ahmed, Natalie Aronson, Tiffany Chen, Katelin Monroy, Deborah Obisanya, and Matthew Palmer, on completing the REALTIME program with the mentorship of Dr. Lindsay Mehrmanesh and Dr. Matthias Schlichting! These students spent their summer developing foundational research skills and investigating the effects of hypoxia on ovarian function.

Fausto has been a highly active member of our lab for several years during his time as an undergraduate, but now as a PhD student, he is making even more rapid progress on the groundbreaking research featured in this interview. August 2020 Congratulations to our PhD student, Judene Thomas, on being a 2020-2021 BSCP HOPE Scholarship Recipient; awarded by Harvard Medical School. Judene is a very talented young scientist, and we are honored to have her as a member of our lab. Her HOPE scholarship is certainly well-deserved! Here is a description of this award:

“The Hope Scholarships are awarded to underrepresented minority students, enrolled in high school, college, medical, graduate or professional school, who have demonstrated an interest in biomedical, biotechnology or other science-related fields and have had direct involvement in BSCP.
